Fares are per person, double occupancy. If you are travelling solo, we recommend you find a companion you are happy to share a suite with. The fare for single occupancy of a suite is double the per person fare.

This is a luxury river cruise with all butler suites and many included shore excursions, special events and other delightful features. Please see the inclusions published on the Scenic website link.

Transfers to and from the Bordeaux airport / train station to the ship are included

if you arrive in and depart Bordeaux on the days of cruise embarkation and debarkation, and

if you add your arrival and departure information into the Trip Personaliser link that Scenic will send you after booking, so Scenic is aware of your travel arrangements.

Once you book, you will receive an email with online confirmation of your booking with a booking number and a link to Scenic's 'Trip Personaliser'.

You have until June 12 to make choices of included excursions through the Trip Personaliser. After that, you will have to book on board. Availability may be limited so we recommend choosing your excursions immediately on booking.

Scenic includes many free excursions.

From roots in Costa Rica, Marcel Bregstein’s wine journey has brought him to his current role as Sommelier and AGM at the prestigious Toronto Hunt Club. One of the oldest and most exclusive clubs in Canada, it’s a centuries-old organization steeped in tradition and renowned for its unparalleled food and wine experiences under Marcel’s leadership.

A recognized leader in the wine industry internationally, Marcel’s knowledge and network places him among the top wine experts in the world. His travels have taken him to the most celebrated wine regions and wineries, where Marcel is personally connected at the highest level to the most respected vintners.

In 2015, Marcel was inducted into the prestigious Ordre de Coteaux de Champagne. Knighted by the head of the house of Taittinger, Marcel is one of only a handful of North Americans to receive the title "Chevalier" of the Order.

Marcel has held the world record for the most champagne bottles sabered in a designated time. He has served on a number of charitable committees and has been featured in premier publications and media networks.
